Data collected
The “Start a project” form collects only what is needed to handle a project request:
- full name
- company or brand
- work email
- website, if you provide one
- project type, description, budget and timeline
No sensitive data is requested. The site sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising trackers, and loads no third-party resource automatically — fonts are served from this domain. No consent banner is therefore required. Links to Instagram, LinkedIn and Calendly open only when you click them: those services learn of your visit only if you follow the link.
Purpose
This information is used exclusively to receive, understand and answer your project or collaboration request. It is never used for automated prospecting, a newsletter or advertising, and is never sold or passed on for marketing purposes.
Legal basis
Processing relies on pre-contractual steps taken at your request, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: you send this information in order to receive an answer with a view to a possible collaboration. No consent checkbox is required for this use alone. Separate consent would be requested if any other purpose arose.
Recipients and processors
The information is received by Louis Frimaudeau only. Three technical providers are involved in delivering it:
- the site host, Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, Californie, États-Unis)
- the email delivery service used by the form, Resend (Ireland region)
- the mailbox provider used to receive and keep the requests
Transfers outside the European Union
Delivery of the form’s emails is processed in Resend’s European region (Ireland): the content of your request does not leave the European Union in transit. Resend, Inc. and the site’s host, Netlify, Inc., remain companies established in the United States and may access technical data from there. These situations are governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, published by each provider.
Retention
The site keeps no copy of submissions in a dedicated database: the information is sent by email so the request can be handled. It then remains in the controller’s professional mailbox. Where no collaboration follows, this correspondence is deleted at the latest 24 months after the last contact. If a collaboration begins, the applicable legal and accounting retention periods take over.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port the data concerning you. To exercise these rights, write to louis@louisfrimaudeau.com. You will receive an answer within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Security
The site is served entirely over HTTPS. Credentials for the email service are stored server-side as environment variables and are never exposed in the browser. Request content is not written to application logs.
